The eighth of Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit Series books (the seventh book in the 'First Series'), first published by Frederick Warne and Co in 1906. Being rather delicate books and given mainly to small children, first and early editions rarely survive in nice condition and are sought after both Potter collectors and people wishing to give a special present.
